Self-service printing from €0.10
At both service points, during library opening hours you can print and copy using two self-service multifunction devices.
The price for one copy or print is €0.10 (A4 black and white) or €0.20 (A4 colour).
The price is doubled for A3 prints.
Printing is on white 80 gsm paper.
We are available to advise you during our service hours:
Monday–Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 11 am–5 pm; Thursday: 12 noon–6 pm
Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
To print, you need credit on a copy card, which you can buy and top up at our service desks during service hours or at the machine outside service hours.
Please note that the machine accepts banknotes only.
During service hours, you can pay by cash or card.
You cannot print directly from a smartphone, but there are several ways to send documents to the printer:
Printing from any Stabi Berlin computer
At any SBB computer in the Potsdamer Straße or Unter den Linden building, select the preconfigured Ricoh PS Inpas printer and enter the number of your copy card.
You can then release your documents at one of our printers using the card.
A printed step-by-step guide is available on site and online under BiblioCopy print system.
Direct USB printing at the copier
You can connect a USB stick of up to 32 GB directly to the multifunction printer.
A complete PDF file is always printed.
A step-by-step guide is available on site or at BiblioCopy USB printing guide.
Printing from your own laptop
To print from your own laptop in the reading room, use BiblioCopy Wi-Fi printing at Stabi Berlin.
This lets you send print jobs directly from your own device to a BiblioCopy printer and release them using your copy card.
Because setup involves several steps and takes some time, installing the printer is most worthwhile if you print on site regularly.
Installation guides are available here.
