Copy card
To print and photocopy on the BiblioCopy machines, you will need a BiblioCopy copy card – unless you still have a blue library card (issued before November 2022):
We can activate this card as a copy card. You do not need a separate copy card.

This card cannot be used as a copy card. Please use a BiblioCopy copy card.
You can obtain a BiblioCopy copy card from the machine or during opening hours. It costs €5: €4 deposit and €1 starting credit.
Copy credit
During service hours, you can pay by cash or card. You can choose any top-up amount; there is no minimum.
Our top-up discounts:
- 5% top-up amount 10,00 €: copy credit: 10,50 €
- 10% top-up amount 20,00 €: copy credit: 22,00 €
- 20% top-up amount 50,00 €: copy credit: 60,00 €
When buying or topping up at the machine, banknotes are required. During service hours, you can buy a copy card with €1 credit for €5, then top it up at the machine with cash at any time. The same discounts apply.
The machine does not give change; please use the exact banknotes required.
Returning the copy card
If you no longer need your copy card, return it at the counter during our service hours. We will refund the €4 deposit.
We can refund unused copy credit to your bank account, less a €5 service fee. Please speak to our staff during service hours.
Lost cards
If you lose your card, contact the copy centre with your card number so that we can block it. If the card has been found or handed in to us, we will return it to you.
What card credit can be used for
BiblioCopy staff-assisted services, reproductions and office supplies cannot be paid for with copy credit.
SBB annual fees and overdue charges cannot be paid with this credit either, as the systems are entirely separate.
You cannot buy BiblioCopy copy credit at the SBB payment machines.
