BiblioCopy GmbH has operated as a self-managed business for more than 30 years, drawing on experience from copy and repro centres in several Berlin libraries.
During this time, library digitisation has changed and modernised considerably, and our business has evolved with it.

In the past, we mainly offered printing and copying facilities in various libraries.
Today, digital reproduction is central to both our self-service facilities and our staff-assisted services.
We have also gained extensive experience delivering digitisation projects for a wide range of libraries, museums and archives. We continually update both our practical and theoretical expertise as well as our technical equipment.
For several years we have also run a small online bookshop, not for profit, but as a project close to our hearts.
Connected through collective working

One thing has not changed: we continue to organise and manage our work collectively and without a hierarchical structure.
Amid constant change and new challenges, we keep working to provide a good livelihood for everyone involved, make decisions collectively, share responsibility and support one another.
