FFBIZ – the feminist archive preserves sources relating to women's and gender history. Across several digiS projects, BiblioCopy digitised and catalogued collections for presentation in the German Digital Women's Archive.

Digitisation and cataloguing

The projects included the digitisation of journals, books and unique archival documents. Indexing, structured metadata and ALTO OCR transformed the image files into searchable digital sources.

Feminist history digitally accessible

Repeated collaboration across several funding years enabled the collections to be catalogued digitally over time. Sources from feminist movements are thus made visible while reducing wear on the delicate originals.
