We digitise documents, letters, photographs, postcards, certificates, notebooks, diaries, index cards and files for individuals as well as archives, businesses, associations and museums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digitisation protects your documents from damage: once digitised, you and others can work with the digital copies while the originals remain safely archived.
You can easily share the digitised material with family and friends wherever they are.
You can reach a wider audience by presenting the material on your website, for example as a digital exhibition, slide show or virtual tour.
The images can also be used for company brochures, exhibition catalogues, postcards, calendars or scholarly publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional processing such as OCR and metadata enrichment makes your digital copies easier to search and access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Archive collections, estates and private documents are digitised at BiblioCopy's Stabi Berlin service points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can hand over your valuable original documents to us in person and collect them later together with the digital files.
We deliver the files on a storage medium of your choice or via download link. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you hand over your documents, we prepare a receipt and record the type and quantity of material together with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also send us an insured package if you cannot come by yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We guarantee careful and confidential handling of your documents.
Once you have received and checked the files, we securely delete our copies. Data protection is our highest priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bring us a sample document or folder, or write to us \u2013 ideally with a sample photograph \u2013 and we will prepare a quotation tailored to your material.
The scan price depends on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • the quantity of originals to be digitised<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the material's condition and the handling required<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the technical parameters (especially file formats and resolution)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the complexity of file naming<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Additional work such as text recognition, enrichment with metadata, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
